Turner Ward is a unique combination of a Medical Day Stay Unit, Care by Parent Unit and Endocrine Testing Unit. Together we provide specialist care to chronic and acutely unwell children 0-18 yrs. This includes haematology, immunology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, bone health service, rheumatology and cardiology.

The Medical Day Stay Unit primarily treats children who require regular treatment, pre and post general anaesthetic or oral sedation care.

The Care by Parent Unit provides accommodation to families whose children require hospital services without the need for 24 hour nursing care. This includes education to patients and families for wet dressings, cystic fibrosis, diabetes and other chronic conditions.

The Endocrinology Testing Unit operates as an out-patient and day stay unit where children attend for short periods and undergo specialist testing and treatment.

U can come here every month,
Ready to get the Good Guys in.
